Its a tear jerker. She is definitely writing for women (I feel), and besides her accident, is your standard run of the mill provo mormon girl.

Some of the essays are really good, some just make you want to gouge your eyes out from all the complaining and self-inflicted guilt. Everyone feels guilty for something in this book. It's a good topic though, and a hot one between any group of women.

One of the ideas from this book, "if you want to improve a city, educate its women." Well written, with the intent to inform you and help you want to get involved. I'm sure they brought in a ton of money with this book.
