We got 50% off tickets from OSU. woohoo! We left in the morning and got there at about 10:30am or so, stayed the entire day in the park riding every roller coaster, and left at closing time, about 10:00pm. It was awesome. We sat front or second row on all of them. Most of them go so fast that your eyes immediately start watering and by the end of the ride you have tear streaming down your face. Some of the best roller coasters were:
Millenium Force (aka the blue one)
This was one of the last roller coasters we went on, around 9:00pm at night. It goes 93 mph, and the mosquitos and bugs were everywhere. We sat second row and were covered in bug guts. It was so disgusting, but so great. The people in front of us - a man with his son - were covered in bugs. It was hilarious.
Maverick (aka the red one)
This one was great. It has an inverted first drop, and goes 70 mph.
The Gate Keeper
Gate Keeper was one of Spencer's favorites. Front row was so fun. Lots of world records broken with this ride too: https://www.cedarpoint.com/rides/Roller-Coasters/GateKeeper
Top Thrill Dragster was closed because it was too windy. We pretended to be sad about that.
Top Thrill Dragster
Needless to say, hopefully we'll be going back next year.
That night we stayed at a nearby campsite in an amish built cabin. Yeah we're really classy. They said "primitive" on the website, and they were indeed primitive. It didn't help that because Columbus was really hot, we only brought sheets and 2 fleece blankets. It was freezing.
The next day after we got our free pancake breakfast (because why else would we stay there?), we headed over to Cleveland.
It was shady and ghetto, we almost got shot, and almost saw Lebron. But the reason we went there was to see the Roll and Roll Hall of Fame.
It was kindof lame, but there were a few cool things. Like:

For the last leg of our trip, we went over to Kirtland and toured the Kirtland temple, and the LDS visitor's center. The visitors center sucked, but the Kirtland temple was awesome. I'm thinking about switching churches.
We also drove over to the John Johnson farm. It was probably the best part of the church's property.

And then we went home. All in all, a good trip.
